In Seoul, South Korea a couple had been arrested for basicly abbondoning there 3 month old daughter. Thier daughter has died due to not having the love or attention need from parents. Instead the couple decided to care for a no living virtual online child. The couple decided to ignore there living breathing child. A reporter said that internet for the people there is like a vacation, a paradise, an escape, they just simply get lost in it. They become blind to everything else important, it was a huge distraction from the real world.
What i think about this foolish inccident that it is very sad. The couple should have been more concerned with their child and attended to her needs. The couple were so into the virtual world that they were supposedly trapt in and took care of a virtual child. When i first read this article my reaction was like " What...are you kidding?!". I felt sad for the little girl that was neglected by her unintelligent parents. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/01/06/green-new-deal-for-south-_n_155504.html
South Koreais trying to become more eco-friendly. They know that they are in a crisis and people need jobs. By doing this now “deal” it will open up 960,000 more jobs for people in South Korea. South Korea is also looking for a new way to boost their economy. Because of this new deal their economy has boosted about 5%. Because their in a global ecnomic crisis, they are willing to do whatever they need to to try and fix everything.By conserving energy, recycling, and helping with floods South Korea hopes to help end unemplyment. I think that this is a good thing for South Korea. It has already helped 140,000 people find new jobs. If this continues to get better then there economy will be better, just like they hoped for. It's not only good for their economic situation but its alos good for the people who live in South Korea who want to get back on their feet. It wont be so hard for them to find a job, and can help with their money issues. Hopefully this will eb a good thing for South Korea.
